MODEL 01: THE ONE-SECOND TIME MACHINE
This layout was a headache journey, let me tell you. In fact, this whole site would have been done much, much sooner were I not such an easily aggravated loser, haha. From my original sketch, it hasn't changed an incredible amount, design-wise, but the structure has gone through quite a reshuffling, so to speak. The whole thing took about four weeks, between school and working full-time, which probably explains why I was so easily moved to keyboard-smashing everytime something didn't work or didn't look right.

The main image of Night has always been one of my favorites of him - it was the first thing I thought of when conceptualizing and I'm really glad I was still able to use it. I haven't done a bottom-aligned layout since 2006, so I'm afraid my coding skillz were a bit rusty, orz. Additionally, I don't know why I keep doing patterned backgrounds coupled with gradients, because I can never get them to work on my own and always have to run to Saya, my proverbial partner-in-crime, for assistance. If I was her, I'd be a little tired of the same old song-and-dance.

I initially wanted all the content to display via the slider!script, but I discovered that, with smaller resolutions, the slider actually went above the screen if there was too much content, and LOL, I like to write. That threw that plan out of the window, but since I loathe pop-ups and can't get LightBox to work for the greater good, Greybox Redux became my savior. I think things came out pretty nifty, though I do apologize if you don't like all the boxes. I aim to please, but sometimes that only benefits myself.
